Hey guys. Tom Hale, the Hale Man with another God blog, hey today's Bible verse is Romans 12:2. "Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is good, pleasing and perfect will." Okay so real quick before I was a Christian I tried to read the right books. I definitely improved as a person exponentially until I became a Christian I started to do the same things that I did before I put myself first and that was becoming a Christian or being a non-Christian I should say.So when I became a Christian I thought I would basically do the same things, but this way I am reading the Bible. I am hanging out with other guys that are other Christians in my Men's group. I belong to two of them right now and then also my wife and I have Bible studies or we really don't even call them Bible studies anymore. We just have other Christians like come over once a week and we talk about things. We talk about the Bible and we study it sometimes, but we are all connected and we hang out with each other.So what I am really trying to say right now is instead of you wanting to change yourself and you knowing that you have to change and trying to do it through sheer will power and saying, "Well, I am going to become a better person. I am going to give more today. I am going to do this." Kind of relax on that because that is what I did and I just let go and I let God work into my heart. It is kind of like him taking a chisel to my heart and just breaking it open and him revealing my true self and my true love that he has for me.And once I started doing that, boy, I will tell you I just gave my life up to him. Things really just started changing exponentially and they changed very fast and they changed his way so instead of me trying to will it and changed myself you know definitely I mean you can do that, you can work on yourself everyday, but you need to be reading the Bible everyday so your head is in it all the time. You need to be with other men all the time in groups and hanging out with other men. These are Christian men that are going to be bringing you up to their level and then you can also bring other guys up to your level too.And having faith, all of this combined and just basically having faith to God that he is going to change you and work in your heart and change you to become a better person. So that is my thought on just sheer will power and the power of God's Grace, okay. You guys have a great day and we will talk with you later.
